At Rising Sun Campers, we love seeing a commercial van transformed into a stylish, comfortable leisure vehicle — and our Starter Pack is the ideal first step on that journey. Whether you’re planning a full camper conversion, a Kombi-style family van or simply want to refresh your current setup, this pack provides the foundation for any future build.

Every Starter Pack begins with a one-to-one design consultation, where we help you choose a personalised colour scheme for your carpet lining, flooring and lighting. From there, we completely strip and deep-clean the rear load area to remove any trace of the van’s previous life, giving you a blank canvas ready for transformation.

We then professionally cut and prepare openings for two privacy-tinted side windows, priming the apertures before bonding the glass securely for a perfect watertight finish. The van is thermally insulated throughout, and a full set of ply lining is fitted (including an optional one-piece floor for a cleaner, joint-free appearance).

The interior metalwork is fully carpet lined using high-quality automotive 4-way stretch carpet, carefully moulded into every contour for a premium, seamless finish. Each ply panel is individually carpeted for future accessibility should you wish to add wiring, accessories or additional upgrades later.

A hardwearing floor covering of your choice is then installed, giving the van a durable, easy-clean surface that’s ideal for work, bikes, pets or outdoor kit. To complete the interior, we install four bright LED spotlights in the rear load space — controllable either from the interior light circuit or via a dedicated switch — along with a deep step and a full-width rear threshold cover for a smart, factory-quality finish.
